This page is dedicated to Kassa.25/11/01 - 9/02/05
Kassa was 2 years old when she was diagnosed with Oesteosarcoma of the jaw. She bravely fought for nearly 10 months, and at 2.30o.m. on the 9/02/05 I helped her cross the Rainbow Bridge.

You were so brave in our fight to beat the cancer, and never once complained.

I didn’t want you to go, but I knew I must let you go to a place where there is no pain.

The pain of letting you go is unbearable and I miss you more than words can say.

I know the pain will get less, but never go and one day I will remember without tears

the special times we shared, and the things we did each day.

We taught each other news ways of enjoying the precious life we shared.

I taught you new tricks, sit, down, stay, come,

And you taught me so much more.

You taught me that with love and mutual respect a human and an animal can share a bond so strong they become one.

.

You enriched so many lives and touched so many hearts with the joy and love you gave.

There will always be a special place in many hearts for you, my beautiful black Lab who fought so hard for the life you loved,

gave so much, and asked nothing back.

Run free without pain my angel in fur. Run free precious baby until we meet again.

Text from 1st Timothy 4:4: “Bless you, my faithful friend, God’s gift; your beautiful eyes can close knowing I love you and I will see you soon.

Not longer after I lost Kassa a close friend fought the battle. Feeling helpless I decided to make dog collars with 80% going to BCD to raise awareness  and research funds.

Lyns pain seemed to ease as we worked on them. Sadly the pain became too much and Lyn never got to see the finished web site and plans we had. In July 2011 I said good bye to one of the best friends a person could have.

No human or animal should have to fight this beast.

Together we can make a difference.

In memory of Lyn and Kassa. You will never be forgotten.

Kassa waited at the top step until I called her to get into the car.
